Makes specified harassment and menacing crimes bail eligible when charged as hate crimes (A.8283, Barclay).
Requiring Hate Crime Arrests: Requires an arrest when a police officer has reasonable cause to believe a hate crime has been committed (A.8962, A. Brown).
Reimplementing Mask Bans
Loitering While Masked or Disguised: Provides a person is guilty of loitering when being masked while congregating in a public place with six or more persons (A.8290, A. Brown).
Deceptive Mask Wearing: Establishes the crimes of deceptive wearing of a mask and aggravated deceptive wearing of a mask during public protests, rallies, and assemblies (A.10043, Reilly).
